Job 165611 - Inspector- Fire Sprinkler Contractor
Schaumburg, IL

Open position in Testing and Inspections department for Fire Sprinkler Contractor. Candidates must possess NICET level 2 and/or completed 5 year union apprenticeship program.

Perform NFPA #25 inspections on commerical and residential fire sprinkler systems including but not limited to:

Call-out and restore fire alarm panels, conduct main drain, flow alarm and valve supervisory testing, record pressure readings and complete information on the inspection form.

Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • NICET Level II Certification in Fire Protection Engineering Technology Inspection and Testing of Water-Based Systems and/ or completion of 5 year apprentice program
  • Able to climb ladders up to 12' in height
  • Ability to work flexible hours to meet customer requirements
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Demonstrate a high level of customer service
  • Ability to adhere to implement and follow safety guidelines and procedures at all times
  • Able to pass a pre-employment background and drug test
  • Possess a valid driver's license and driving record that meets company requirements
