GAME DESIGN INTERN
What You'll Do
Psyonix (a subsidiary of Epic) is looking for an intern to join the Rocket League team and work alongside some of the most passionate developers in the industry.
Our Interns are given challenging projects throughout the work term and are provided with a meaningful experience with high expectations for performance. You will gain invaluable experiences working alongside Artists, Engineers, Designers, Producers, and Product Managers to help push forward the future of sport.
In this role, you will
  • Participate in the ideation and implementation of challenges
  • Assist in the development, balance, and delivery of the Rocket Pass
  • Maintain Rocket League's competitive integrity through the tuning and balance of new vehicles
  • Work in UEFN to implement new modes while working alongside technical designers and engineers
  • Attend playtests, provide feedback, and help identify practical solutions to problems
What we're looking for
  • Finished student projects or indie games with experience through the entire development cycle
  • Passion for games with a specific focus on competitive, skill based games
  • Strong interest in esports with an understanding of what makes them successful
  • Exceptional communication skills and the ability to take feedback and direction on assigned tasks
  • Contributed code towards a completed project
  • Unreal Engine and UEFN experience is required
