Normal Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm

Job Summary: The Marketing Coordinator II oversees marketing, promotion, and publicity functions for a college, division, or the University. Creates and implements marketing strategies using advertising, media, direct mail, etc. Coordinates production of materials specified in marketing plans and calendars. Consults with product and/or program development.
Additional Department Summary: Works within Enrollment Management to support the division's contribution to the University's strategic plan. Manages the utilization of email communications for the purpose of generating and disseminating student success information through our customer relationship management system (CRM). Identifies, develops, and disseminates proactively for activities, events, and notifications for the Division of Enrollment Management (EM) Customer Relationship Management System (CRM). The primary audience of the CRM includes current undergraduate students. Provides tactical marketing support, including providing innovative and strategic vision for digital marketing and email to support campus partners, retention, and graduation efforts. Plays a critical role in the approval process of all email communications including stakeholder feedback and revision control. Works collaboratively to plan and execute marketing activities for the Division of Enrollment Management. Assists leadership with summaries of CRM campaign effectiveness regarding key strategic enrollment management initiatives for campus leadership. Abides by all confidentiality laws and policies while accessing data that is protected by HIPPA and FERPA regulations as well as institutional data security guidelines.
Required Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and two (2) years of marketing, public relations, communications, or advertising experience; OR master's degree and some marketing, public relations, communications, or advertising experience.
Skills and Knowledge: Excellent copywriting, editing, proofreading, project management, and verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work as part of a team and meet deadlines. Knowledge of professional writing styles and ability to master AP and UA Editorial Style.
Preferred Qualifications: Project management experience. Email and/or digital campaign execution and marketing copy writing experience. Experience with Slate CRM, SQL, and/or Microsoft Excel. Experience with HTML and CSS.
