Job description

Strong Automotive is looking for an Account Executive to join our Account Team in Birmingham.

This role is built for someone who enjoys working with people, leading client conversations, organizing moving pieces, and helping ideas turn into finished work. The Account Executive is the day-to-day connection between our dealership clients and the internal Strong Automotive teams that support strategy, creative, media, digital, direct mail, data, and campaign execution.

The right person for this role will be persuasive, organized, relationship-driven, highly capable with technology, and comfortable taking ownership. They should enjoy building trust with clients, communicating clearly, keeping work on track, and helping a team move with urgency and accuracy.

What You’ll Do
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through regular communication, meetings, and in-person visits.
  • Serve as the primary client contact for assigned dealership accounts.
  • Learn each client’s business, goals, market, budget, and marketing priorities.
  • Lead client conversations around strategy, campaign planning, performance, and next steps.
  • Use technology confidently to manage client work, interpret campaign information, prepare reports, and keep projects moving.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to move projects from idea to execution.
  • Communicate client objectives clearly to Creative, Digital, Media, Direct Mail, Data, and Client Services teams.
  • Manage timelines, follow-ups, budgets, reporting, presentations, and project details.
  • Help ensure work is completed accurately, on time, and aligned with client expectations.
  • Identify opportunities to grow client relationships, media mix, budgets, and overall account value.
  • Travel as needed to meet with clients and stay connected to their business.
