- Be fully engaged during sessions, interacting with all participants to create a fun, inclusive, and dynamic experience.
- Follow a pre-designed practice schedule, incorporating drills and exercises to develop fundamental golf skills.
- Successfully complete all required training and certifications within the designated timeframe.
- Perform additional duties as needed to support the success of the program.
Minimum Skills and Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Prior experience as a coach, instructor, tutor, or mentor is preferred.
- Familiarity with the game of golf, including the ability to use a golf club and demonstrate basic golf skills while effectively teaching lessons.
- Passion for working with youth and engaging with children of all ages in a community setting.
- Willingness to learn and follow a structured practice curriculum.
- Strong customer service mindset with excellent communication and interpersonal skills; outgoing and comfortable speaking in front of small groups.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, including bending and stooping as needed.
- Capable of lifting and moving up to 25 lbs regularly and occasionally up to 50 lbs with minimal assistance.
- Availability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends, and willingness to work outdoors for extended periods in various weather conditions.
