As a BrightBee Custodian, you'll work within the Los Angeles County Area. In these roles, you'll help keep school buildings clean, safe, and running smoothly for students, teachers, and staff. No two days are the same-but every day matters. During your interview we will go into detail about what assignments are available. The more sites and assignment types you are open to working, the more your earning potential is. 

Custodian Roles 

• Monday - Friday
• 7am-3pm or 2pm-9pm

Custodians are responsible for the full building and grounds, including opening/closing, overseeing cleanliness, and maintaining the overall environment. These roles require strong reliability and are intended for consistent, long-term placement.

This is great side-gig or full-time opportunity work and may turn into long-term or permanent opportunities based on performance!

• Work 2-5 days per week
• Pick up assignments that match your schedule

No experience? No problem. We'll help you get started.

• HS Diploma / GED
• Cleaning, custodial, or janitorial experience 
• Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus

To keep students safe, you'll need to:

• Pass a background check
• Follow safety and reporting guidelines
• Complete required school clearances which you are responsible for paying.
  • Costs associated with the clearance process are the sole responsibility of the candidate, as this engagement is for an independent contractor role rather than a traditional employment position.  Requirements vary by state but may include the cost of a background check, obtaining a copy of any college transcript you have, and the cost of completing Mandated Reporter training. The average cost of completing clearance in California for this role is between $123 - $214.
