What We're Looking For:
  • A strategic, detail-oriented professional with strong knowledge of healthcare group purchasing organizations (GPOs)
  • Proven experience managing affiliate or network programs in healthcare environments
  • Ability to build and maintain executive-level relationships across hospitals, clinics, and affiliates
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to track, analyze, and report rebate and contract performance
  • Bachelor's degree in business, healthcare, or a related field (preferred)
  • Minimum of 2 years of progressive healthcare purchasing experience
  • 5 years of experience working with or within a Group Purchasing Organization (preferred)
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office
  • Excellent interpersonal communication and leadership skills

What You Will Do:
The Affiliate Program Coordinator is responsible for the management, marketing, and optimization of Baton Rouge General Medical Center's affiliate programs across hospitals, clinics, rehabilitation, and other applicable markets. This role serves as a key liaison with Premier Purchasing Partners and affiliate members, ensuring contract utilization, rebate maximization, and strong financial performance. The Coordinator also performs analytics and tracks all rebates due to and received by Baton Rouge General and its affiliates.
Essential Job Functions include:
  • Manage and grow affiliate programs in a financially responsible and strategic manner
  • Develop and execute budget and marketing plans to increase affiliate program revenue
  • Lead initiatives to maximize, track, and report on existing and new rebate opportunities
  • Maintain expert knowledge of the healthcare GPO industry and Premier Purchasing Partners programs
  • Develop and maintain relationships with affiliate members and key stakeholders, including executive leadership (CEO, CFO, department leaders)
  • Present affiliate program benefits to current and prospective members at the leadership level
  • Partner with Premier to optimize contract utilization among affiliate members
  • Design, implement, and monitor contract management processes for affiliate networks
  • Develop and manage effective communication strategies with affiliate members
  • Provide management or technical support to contract coordinators as directed
  • Perform analytical reporting related to affiliate performance, rebates, and contract utilization
  • Complete all other duties as assigned
