• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients, determining their specific needs and rehabilitation goals.
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans utilizing a variety of methods such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and advanced modalities.
• Monitor and document patient progress meticulously, adjusting treatment plans based on ongoing assessments and outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families about therapeutic procedures, ensuring they are informed participants in their care plan.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure a seamless continuum of care.
• Recommend and fit patients with assistive devices when necessary, guiding them on correct usage to enhance everyday functioning.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge in the field by participating in professional development opportunities such as workshops and relevant certifications.

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist, you will play a critical role in helping patients set and achieve personal health goals that enhance their quality of life. • A Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy, accredited by the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE).
• Current and valid state license to practice physical therapy in Virginia.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, essential for effective patient interactions.
• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and basic computer skills for documentation and patient management.
• Ability to work independently while being a collaborative team player.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a commitment to continuous learning and improvement.

While prior work experience is not strictly required, candidates with experience in outpatient orthopedic settings or specialized training in orthopedic rehabilitation techniques are highly desirable.
