Join our team at Securitas Security where you will have the opportunity to serve your community while receiving advanced training in safety & security. This position will give you the opportunity to gain knowledge in the various security solutions we provide to our clients, while learning multiple vacates of the business. Flex Officers will gain a broad, specialized knowledge of various high-profile posts & will be evaluated for leadership & further growth potential.
Typical Flex Officer Objectives:
  • Provide security for short-term special security assignments.
  • Support staffing requirements at accounts during shortages due to vacations, call-offs, no shows, holidays, etc.
  • Assist in start-ups at new accounts which includes working the site & training newly assigned permanent Security Officers.
  • Weekend and holiday availability needed.
  • Respond promptly to alarms, disturbances, and incidents as they arise.
  • Complete detailed reports, send emails, and support daily operational tasks.
  • Demonstrate and maintain proficiency in responding to medical incidents, including CPR/AED.
  • Conduct routine patrols of interior and exterior premises.

Flex Officer Requirements:
  • 21 years of age or older.
  • High School Diploma OR GED.
  • Standard computer / technology skills needed.
  • Conflict resolution & de-escalation skills preferred.
  • Customer service background preferred.
  • 1 Year Security experience required.
  • Must be comfortable conducting access control duties.
  • Must have reliable means of transportation & communication.
  • Able to work Swing Shift (2pm-10pm) and Grave Shift (10pm-6am).
  • Valid Driver's License with clean driving record.

All candidates must be able to pass a drug test & background check.
