Work Environment

This position is fully remote, allowing for flexibility while ensuring that clinicians can effectively engage with students and collaborate with educational staff in a school-based setting. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of students' mental health, including evaluating emotional, behavioral, and academic functioning.
• Develop and implement personalized, evidence-based treatment plans tailored to the distinct needs of each student, ensuring cultural competence and inclusion of family perspectives.
• Provide psychotherapy services using a variety of techniques and modalities to address common mental health challenges in children and adolescents.
• Facilitate group therapy sessions to foster peer support and resilience among students experiencing similar issues.
• Collaborate with educators, school administrators, and parents to create a holistic approach to student mental health and well-being.
• Continuously monitor and adapt treatment plans based on student progress, feedback, and evolving needs.
• Offer educational resources and support to families, guiding them in understanding mental health conditions and available community resources.
• Uphold ethical standards and maintain strict confidentiality in all interactions and documentation.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The LCSW will focus on a diverse youth population, addressing a wide array of mental health conditions. These may include but are not limited to anxiety disorders, major depressive disorders, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and behavioral issues that affect learning and social interactions. By engaging with students from various backgrounds, the clinician will be instrumental in reducing stigma surrounding mental health and ensuring all students have access to necessary services.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Current state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• A minimum of two years of professional experience in providing psychotherapy and mental health services to children and adolescents.
• Demonstrated proficiency in conducting clinical assessments and formulating treatment strategies.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, enabling effective communication with students, parents, and educational personnel.
• Proficiency in utilizing electronic health records (EHRs) and telehealth platforms to manage patient caseloads and document care.
• A deep understanding of the challenges faced by youth dealing with mental health issues and a commitment to advocacy.

Preferred Experience

• Experience delivering services in a school or educational setting is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with community resources and referral processes in mental health services.

Compensation and Benefits
