Work Environment

The selected LCSW will work remotely, providing flexibility and a comfortable work setting while still being an integral part of our vibrant health care community. You will engage with clients and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams via telehealth platforms. In this role, you will leverage technology, including electronic health records (EHRs), to maintain accurate patient documentation and facilitate seamless communication with colleagues.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients’ psychological, emotional, and social functioning to establish baseline data for treatment.
• Deliver individual psychotherapy sessions focused on various mental health issues, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, trauma, and PTSD, using evidence-based therapeutic techniques.
• Develop tailored treatment plans that incorporate patients' diverse backgrounds and are rooted in culturally competent practices.
• Regularly evaluate and modify treatment plans in response to patient progress and feedback, ensuring a dynamic and personalized approach to care.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, primary care physicians, and other healthcare team members to promote cohesive and comprehensive patient care.
• Provide education and support for patients and their families about mental health conditions and available community resources, enhancing their understanding and coping strategies.
• Uphold client confidentiality and ethical standards of practice, ensuring patients are informed and consent is appropriately obtained for treatments.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This position involves working with a varied clientele, encompassing adults facing significant mental health hurdles, including mood disorders, anxiety disorders, trauma, and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). You will be instrumental in empowering these individuals, guiding them toward better mental health and personal growth through sensitive and effective interventions.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.
• Current state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) is mandatory.
• A minimum of two years’ relevant experience providing psychotherapy and mental health services to a diverse patient population.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities, essential for fostering relationships with patients and collaborating with healthcare colleagues.
• Strong clinical assessment skills, with a documented ability to design evidence-based treatment strategies.
• Proficiency in using electronic health records (EHRs) and other relevant health software for patient documentation and care coordination.
• A deep understanding of mental health conditions, treatments, and the societal challenges facing those with mental health issues.
• Commitment to confidentiality and adherence to ethical and professional standards in practice.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in a community health setting or telehealth environment is advantageous.
• Familiarity with specific therapeutic modalities like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) is preferred.
• Experience working with various age groups and backgrounds.

Compensation and Benefits
