Job description

Flex-O-Glass is a leading plastics manufacturer and third generation family-owned company with over 100 years of business experience. We extrude plastic products, primarily films, but also sheet and profile. Our office promotes a family friendly atmosphere, broad diversity and welcoming environment to our team. We believe in our team and pride our employees on their individual contributions and team contributions knowing without them we can't be at our best to meet our customers and venders' needs.
Our company is currently searching for someone to join our shipping team as a Warehouse Order Picker who will work alongside our shipping team to provide support to our team in accurately pulling sales orders to ship to our customers. This position will work within a team and will be based in our Chicago, IL facility. This role will require the selected candidate to be in our facility normally Monday through Friday 8am - 4:30pm, with periodic times for overtime hours based on our shipping needs.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Accurately pick sales orders efficiently with usage of RF scanners
  • Load and unload daily trucks with forklift or hand jack as necessary
  • Properly store all finished goods in designated areas including raw materials using RF scanners
  • Perform all other warehouse duties as assigned by Shipping Manager

Key Job Requirements:
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to speak and read English
  • Ability to learn and operate an RF Scanner will be mandatory
  • Ability to lift 60lbs individually and 120lbs with other support of coworkers
  • Ability to work in varying temperatures, depending on season
