Armed Flex Security Officer – Redondo Beach | $23/hr

Schedule:

Saturday: 9:45 AM – 1:45 PM

Sunday: 8:30 AM – 12:30 PM

Part-Time / Flex Position

Additional flex shifts may be assigned based on operational needs and officer availability. Officers must be available to cover the required Saturday and Sunday shifts.

Job Description:

We are seeking dedicated and professional Armed Guards to join our esteemed security team. In this critical role, you will play a vital part in maintaining safety and security ensuring that all security protocols and regulations are upheld. The ideal candidates will possess a strong background in security operations, firearms proficiency, and crisis management skills. You will be responsible for assessing potential threats, utilizing your training to respond effectively and decisively to any incidents while demonstrating exceptional judgment under pressure. Responsibilities:

  • Provide customer service and greet visitors
  • Conduct security assessments in high-risk environments
  • Maintain a visible presence to deter criminal activity
  • Monitor and control access points
  • Respond swiftly to security incidents according to protocol
  • Assist law enforcement agencies during emergencies
  • Communicate effectively with team members
  • Execute emergency response procedures and contribute to incident reports
  • Asset protection, principal escort, access control, guest protection & principal protection

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in armed security or law enforcement
  • Valid firearm license and certification (Open Carry Permit) CCW a plus
  • Possess own firearm
  • Must have own duty belt
  • Strong physical fitness and ability to handle stressful situations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends
  • Knowledge of security technology and surveillance systems
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
