Job description

With a commitment to providing high-quality services to our clients, we are seeking a skilled Duct Mechanic Foreman to join our growing team. This role offers a unique opportunity to work on a variety of challenging projects in a dynamic environment.

Project Overview:

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Duct Mechanic Foreman. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical systems and be capable of working both independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, supervise, and coordinate a team of sheet metal workers on job sites.
  • Ensure workers follow safety procedures, adhere to company standards, and meet project deadlines.
  • Qualifications:

Knowledge:

  • Supervision level safety knowledge, OSHA 10/30 preferred
  • Journeyman knowledge of the trade and corresponding trade impacts
  • Moderate understanding of project budgets and man loaded schedules

Skills:

  • Journeyman level ability to install sheet metal
  • Read, understand and execute CM/GC schedules and develop a trade specific project schedule
  • Material handling and management

Requirements:

  • 5 + years of experience in installation of different duct (rectangle, spiral, oval, flex, etc.)
  • Material scheduling and site management
  • Assemble fiberglass and sheet metal ductwork
  • Measure, size, cut, and apply duct insulation
  • Must have ALL tools required for the trade
  • Strong working knowledge of job site safety - OSHA 10 preferred
  • Must be able to pass background and drug test
  • Must have OWN reliable transportation

Minimum Hand Tools Required:

  • Standard hand tools for a journeyman Sheetmetal installer
