Job description

What to Expect As an Electrical Foreman with the Self Perform team, you will oversee all phases of commercial renovation and construction, managing multiple crews across various electrical disciplines including power distribution, lighting, and control panels. This role requires strong leadership, effective project management, and adherence to safety and compliance standards to ensure successful execution of electrical scopes.
What You'll Do

  • Allocate resources effectively to meet project demands and ensure efficient manpower utilization
  • Collaborate on renovation projects for phasing and scoping for removal of existing electrical distribution systems
  • Lead job walks to assess work locations, identify issues, develop takeoffs, and create accurate estimates
  • Collaborate with superintendents on scope alignment, safety planning, material logistics, and conduct kickoff meetings for project execution
  • Oversee field operations by aligning Foremen with execution expectations, tracking performance, and ensuring safety compliance
  • Develop and implement safety plans, assign checklists, and address personnel issues while ensuring resource availability
  • Lead and mentor the team, encourage innovation, align with company goals, conduct interviews, and drive process improvements

What You'll Bring

  • Must have a minimum of 5+ years of Electrical experience in industrial or commercial settings
  • Must have an OSHA 30 or willing to obtain within the first 90 days of employment
  • Knowledge of basic hand tools, electrical meters, testing equipment, and handling standard voltage up to 480 VAC
  • Proficient in navigating the current edition of the National Electric Code Book and interpreting electrical prints and schematics
  • Ability to install electrical equipment, modify circuits, produce parts lists, work plans, and as-built drawings
  • Strong working knowledge of job site safety, identifying electrical hazards, and completing pre-work task planning with an emphasis on proper safety procedures and code compliance

Expected Compensation $44.45 - $66.78/hour + cash and stock awards + benefits
