Overview
Project Foreman Needed - Houston, TX ($2,500 Sign on Bonus!)
We are currently seeking an Electrical Foreman with 5+ years of experience leading commercial and industrial electrical projects throughout the Houston area. Electrical Foremen are an integral part of our team and are responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing the day-to-day execution of electrical work while ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, on schedule, and in accordance with company quality standards. This role also serves as a leader in promoting a strong safety culture and maintaining compliance with all applicable safety policies and electrical codes.
Responsibilities
  • Train, manage and evaluate project team
  • Ability to assist Strategic Account Manager to prepare construction schedules
  • Create, influence, and maintain schedules for proper resource utilization and material usage
  • Can plan and coordinate material and logistical needs of a project efficiently
  • Create & maintain daily reports, timesheets, safety and incident reports
  • Coordinate production and attend meetings with other trades and the client to identify and resolve any conflicts
  • Can effectively track production to meet/beat labor goals
  • Plan, organize, and direct production in accordance with the contracted scope of work
  • Oversee quality assurance and quality control programs
  • Coordinate work with Purchasing to ensure that requested material is expedited and received as needed for the construction of a project
  • Ensure all installations meet quality and electrical code standards
  • Ability to build and grow partnerships with clients for continued work
  • Can build/design effective layout drawings and record drawings
  • Ability to safely lift, carry, push, and/or pull up to 50 pounds on a regular basis, with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Ability to stand and/or walk for extended periods of time during scheduled shifts
  • Ability to perform physical activities such as bending, kneeling, crouching, twisting, reaching, and climbing as required by job duties

Qualifications
  • Must maintain and enforce safety policies on jobsite
  • 5+ years of electrical construction experience which includes leading large jobs in Industrial/Commercial industry
  • Can oversee a crew of 10+ electricians
  • Ability to manage/oversee multiple projects simultaneously
  • Active Journeyman's License required
  • Proficient with the National Electrical Code
  • Exposure to Bluebeam and/or Salesforce is a plus
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite, including excel and familiarity with MS Teams and SharePoint
  • Strong verbal, written, analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong customer service skills required
  • Must be able to work at project jobsites throughout the DFW/North Texas/Houston as needed
  • Willingness to travel outside of DFW/North TX/Houston area a plus
  • Must have active driver's license and acceptable motor vehicle report
