Flex Valley Vista Rehab Clinic is a premier rehabilitation facility located in the heart of Chicago, Illinois. Our state-of-the-art 5000-square-foot sports medicine clinic is equipped with modern technology and equipment to support cutting-edge therapies. We pride ourselves on providing personalized care to a clientele that predominantly consists of patients with private health insurance. As part of our multidisciplinary team, which includes one physical therapy assistant (PTA) and two other licensed physical therapists, you will be contributing to our mission of delivering exceptional healthcare services and improving patient outcomes.

This is an onsite position, allowing you to work collaboratively with your team in a supportive environment designed for rehabilitation. Our facility fosters a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement, where communication with colleagues and patients is paramount. You will work Monday through Friday from 9 am to 5 pm, providing you with a balanced work-life experience.

• Administer direct patient care according to the written and signed prescription from the referring physician or an authorized practitioner.
• Employ appropriate evaluation techniques expertly and efficiently to assess patients’ conditions.
• Develop individualized treatment programs designed to achieve established goals specific to each patient’s needs and circumstances.
• Monitor and document patients’ tolerance and progress throughout treatment, demonstrating the ability to modify treatment plans as necessary.
• Respond to established department emergency procedures to ensure patient safety and high-quality care.
• Complete necessary documentation to comply with department policies and administrative protocols.
• Take an active role in quality improvement initiatives, which may include participating in chart reviews and audits.
• Engage in family meetings and collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to address the welfare and management of patient care effectively.
• Perform additional duties as required to support overall clinic operations and patient care.

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist at our clinic, you will work primarily with patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, musculoskeletal injuries, and sports-related conditions. The majority of the patient demographic consists of active individuals seeking to resume their regular activities post-injury or surgery. Your role will significantly impact their recovery journey by facilitating effective rehabilitation strategies tailored to their specific needs.

• Must possess a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution.
• Hold a valid physical therapy license in the state of Illinois.
• No prior board actions or disciplinary actions against the license.
• Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques.
• Skilled in creating effective exercise plans that enhance recovery and strength building.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) software, specifically WebPT, with the ability to use it effectively.

• While not mandatory, previous experience in a sports rehabilitation or orthopedic setting is highly desirable.
• Experience with a wide range of therapeutic modalities and rehabilitation techniques will be advantageous.
• Ability to work flexibly in a fast-paced environment to accommodate varying patient needs and schedules.

The salary for this position ranges from USD 90,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
