Element employees make a difference in the lives of others every day. We are re-defining the fleet management industry to be people first, then business - delivering on our promise of a superior client experience. This takes hard work and innovation, and we need more like-minded people on our team.

About the Role

We're looking for a process-driven and execution-focused leader to join our team as Fleet Operations Implementation Project Supervisor. In this role, you will be responsible for translating corporate operating standards, performance metrics, and policy requirements into disciplined, executable site-level processes within a high-uptime fleet environment. You will ensure depot operations including maintenance, charging, cleaning, quality control, and safety are aligned with company policies and performance metrics. You will work directly with site leadership and frontline teams to validate workflows, eliminate operational friction, and ensure readiness for launch, scale, and audit.

What You'll Do

  • Translate corporate policies, procedures, and performance metrics into practical, site workflows tailored to depot conditions.
  • Convert high-level standards into structured operational tools including SOPs, checklists, inspection protocols, escalation paths, and performance routines.
  • Identify gaps between policy design and real-world site constraints and ensure processes are executable within operational limits.
  • Partner with City Operations Manager to validate staffing, maintenance timing, cleaning cadence, and vehicle prioritization.
  • Conduct operational walkthroughs and confirm readiness across maintenance bays, charging lanes, and facility systems.
  • Coordinate cross-functional implementation efforts across operations, maintenance, safety, training, and inventory teams.
  • Audit workflows for bottlenecks, safety risks, and compliance gaps while enforcing governance routines.
  • Ensure alignment with key operational metrics such as uptime, turnaround times, and quality performance.
  • Support fleet launch and scaling activities while maintaining consistency and performance stability.

Basic Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience in operations, fleet services, logistics, transportation, rental fleet, or industrial environments.
  • Experience working in 24/7 operational settings.
  • Hands-on experience implementing SOPs at the site level.
  • Strong understanding of process flow, throughput modeling, and operational capacity planning.
  • Experience working directly with frontline teams.
  • Comfort operating in warehouse, depot, or industrial environments.
  • Ability to work onsite in San Diego, CA - 5 days/week.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Education: College/University degree preferred.
  • Experience in mobility, electric vehicle fleets, or automotive operations.
  • Familiarity with maintenance and technical operations.
  • Experience supporting safety compliance programs.
  • Background in Lean operations or process improvement.
  • Experience supporting market launch or rapid scaling operations.

Location: San Diego, CA

The hiring base salary range for this position is $75,500 - $103,840 annually.
