What does a flat roofer do?

A flat roofer is a skilled tradesperson who specializes in installing, repairing, and maintaining flat roofing systems on commercial, industrial, or residential buildings. Their main responsibilities include preparing roof surfaces, applying waterproof membranes, and ensuring proper drainage to prevent leaks. Flat roofers work with various materials such as bitumen, rubber, or synthetic membranes and must follow safety regulations while working at heights. Regular inspections and timely repairs performed by flat roofers help extend the life of a flat roof and protect the building’s structure.

These abilities are essential for delivering durable, weatherproof roofs and minimizing workplace hazards.
