Job description

Hi there! Do you have experience in retail or restaurant management? Do you love fashion, clothing, and shopping? Do you like being a part of sustainable and recycled styles? Kid to Kid is not your typical thrift store. We serve the community by paying cash for gently used kids' things and reselling them at great prices. Our community loves our store and needs us to help make parenting more affordable.
We are looking for an organized and efficient person to join our Kid to Kid store management team. You will learn the resale and franchise business from the ground up with responsibility for training and motivating the store team.
Our ideal candidate would be excited to take a hands on approach to learn the entire business model -- including buying product, managing the inventory, merchandising, social media marketing, and helping to lead a team of 8-10 people to provide exceptional customer service for the thousands of families who buy, and sell their outgrown kids stuff. Our stores are unique: we source inventory primarily from families in the local community and pay cash for gently used children's items that are current styles and in great, usable condition for the next family. We have high standards for our management team: we want someone who can take a playbook and follow guidelines to implement all our franchise systems. We operate the flagship store for a 100+ store international franchise. This is an ideal position for an ambitious and smart individual who wants to learn new skills and a new business.
Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate and price inventory using our proprietary buying software
  • Manage inventory through regular markdowns and merchandising
  • Manage our team of 8-10 people
  • Create outstanding customer experiences with a long-term perspective on business growth.

Benefits:
  • Competitive salary
  • Bonuses
  • Excellent employee discount
  • Great retail hours!

Salary $45,000 to $60,000 depending on experience.
We'd love to chat with you and see if our career opportunity would be right for you. Drop us your application and let's talk!
Compensation: $45,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
Kid to Kid is looking for smart, ambitious people to join our team and learn the children's resale business from the ground up. At Kid to Kid you'll increase your skills as you learn all about running a busy retail store - including selecting current and stylish products to purchase, merchandising that product for sale, managing inventory levels, creating social media content, and providing top notch customer experiences. We offer a flexible schedule to compliment your busy lifestyle, great employee discounts, and a high energy retail environment.
You'll love being part of our sharing, caring community! Our eco-friendly, value oriented customers love us for our daily-changing selection, our value, and the convenience of selling their outgrown kids' items for cash on the spot. Kid to Kid puts money back into the local economy every day as we pay out "Cash for Kids' Stuff". Our product is locally sourced and sustainable. And each store donates hundreds of pounds of clothing to local charities each week - giving outgrown kids' stuff new life and new homes, and helping those in need.
