Fixed Assets Analyst - Hybrid - Atlanta, GA

Position Overview:

We’re seeking a Fixed Assets Analyst to manage and monitor fixed asset activity, ensure accurate ledger entries, and support audit readiness. The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience with fixed asset processes and a strong understanding of GAAP.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and update the fixed asset ledger for acquisitions, disposals, and transfers.

  • Perform monthly reconciliations between fixed asset and general ledgers.

  • Monitor and capitalize construction-in-progress (CIP) assets timely.

  • Partner with operations to verify asset location, usage, and integrity.

  • Prepare accurate reports for internal stakeholders and external audits.

  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and US GAAP standards.

  • Support annual audits by preparing schedules and documentation.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

  • 2+ years of experience in fixed asset or general accounting.

  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and fixed asset lifecycle.

  • Skilled in Excel and ERP systems such as SAP, NetSuite, or Oracle.

  • High attention to detail, organizational, and time management skills.
