August 7, 2026OpportunityAs a Collateral Management Analyst, you play a key role in the effective management of collateral across a complex derivatives portfolio. The Analyst will ensure collateral is accurately calculated, called, and settled in line with ever-changing market exposures. This is a fixed-term role ending December 31, 2026
We are looking for someone with a strong understanding of the derivatives lifecycle and margining frameworks, who can take ownership of high-volume and time-sensitive collateral flows. The role supports the end-to-end management of collateral exposures and operational risk while contributing to process improvements, workflow enhancements, automation opportunities, and system-related initiatives.
This role is ideal for a detail-oriented and analytical individual who is comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. The successful candidate will bring knowledge of investment products and trade lifecycles, strong problem-solving skills, and an interest in using data, technology, and process improvement to strengthen daily operations.

  • Manage daily collateral processing for derivatives, including margin calls, settlements, substitutions and dispute management.
  • Calculate margin requirements across a multi portfolio trading strategy, while managing optimization
  • Reconcile collateral balances, margin statements and positions across internal systems, custodians and counterparties
  • Record collateral-related transactions in the collateral management application and accounting book of record.
  • Prepare daily reporting for investment teams and senior management
  • Identify and resolve process improvements, inefficiencies and control strengthening opportunities
  • Assist with automation, workflow enhancements and procedure documentation
  • Collaborate with Senior Analysts and other team members to support daily priorities and ongoing team initiatives.

Our Ideal Candidate:

  • Undergraduate degree in Finance, Statistics, Business, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • CFA designation or enrollment in the CFA program would be considered an asset.
  • Experience in investment operations, collateral management, derivatives operations, securities lending, futures, or a related capital markets environment.
  • Knowledge of collateral management workflows, counterparty exposure management, trade lifecycles and derivative regulation.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, with experience in VBA, SQL, data analysis tools, or automation tools considered an asset.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to build collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • High attention to detail, strong accuracy, and the ability to manage multiple priorities under strict deadlines.
  • Intellectual curiosity and a commitment to continuous learning.
