Job Description

What you'll do

  • You'll prepare daily reconciliations of positions and trades between client records and their prime brokers, ensuring accuracy and resolving discrepancies.
  • You'll collaborate with prime brokers to resolve trade breaks and maintain smooth operational workflows.
  • You'll handle monthly reconciliations of tri-party positions, cash, market values, and accruals, while also preparing performance estimates for COO clients.
  • You'll review monthly Administrator NAV packages, update portfolio accounting systems when needed, and maintain fund accrual schedules.
  • You'll process corporate actions such as dividends, splits, and mergers for client portfolios, while serving as a point of escalation for complex issues.

Qualifications
  • You must hold a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics, or a related field, with three plus years of financial services experience, specifically in middle office work with alternative investment funds.
  • You need strong expertise in financial instruments such as equities, fixed income, bank debt, repos, options, swaps, futures, and FX spot/forward contracts, along with advanced knowledge of margin processes and cash projections.
  • You should demonstrate excellent attention to detail, multitasking ability, and strong communication skills for managing client relationships, while being hard-working, punctual, and personable.
  • You are expected to have a solid understanding of hedge funds and private equity, strong accounting and analytical skills, and advanced computer proficiency, especially in Excel and portfolio accounting systems like Enfusion or Geneva.
  • You will be required to work full-time in the office, applying your dedication and technical expertise to support operational and client-facing responsibilities.
