Job description

ADP is hiring a Senior Investment Data Analyst
  • Are you passionate about fixed income markets, portfolio analysis, and supporting investment decision making?
  • Do you thrive in roles that blend systems expertise, financial accounting, and problem-solving?

Well, this may be the role for you. Ready to make your mark?
In this role you will serve as a critical bridge between technology, investment compliance, and financial accounting. You will support and enhance investment administration platforms, drive data integrity and governance, and ensure operational excellence across systems like Geneva and Bloomberg AIM.
No two days are the same. You will work across various business areas including but not limited to data analysis, system configuration, and compliance monitoring. You'll collaborate with internal stakeholders and external vendors, support audits, and continuously improve processes while delivering reporting and insights to senior leadership.
You will collaborate closely with portfolio managers, accounting teams, and technology partners to support investment activities, improve data quality, streamline processes, and maintain critical investment applications including Bloomberg and Geneva.
To thrive in this role, you'll need strong technical expertise, deep knowledge of investment accounting, and the ability to manage complex data environments. You'll face challenges around data quality, compliance requirements, and evolving systems.
Here's what you can expect on a typical day:
  • Data Quality & Governance. You'll ensure data accuracy and consistency, investigate discrepancies, implement data governance frameworks, and manage corporate actions and security master data. Partner with business and technology teams to enhance reporting, data integration, automation, and workflow efficiency.
  • Systems Support. You'll configure and maintain systems such as Geneva and Bloomberg, participate in upgrades, and support user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Compliance Monitoring. You'll support the Bloomberg AIM Compliance Module, maintain investment guidelines, review daily compliance reports, and process trade overrides when needed.
  • Data & Reporting. You'll develop and optimize SQL queries, build reports, and create Excel-based tools and dashboards to support operational and reporting needs.
  • Collaboration & Problem Solving. You'll work with vendors, custodians, and internal stakeholders to resolve issues, perform root cause analysis, and improve processes.
  • Audit & Operational Support. You'll support internal and external audits, assist leadership on special projects, and help train team members for backup coverage

To succeed in this role:
  • You'll have a bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • You have 5-7 years of experience in asset management, investment administration, or financial services operations with strong knowledge of fixed income securities including government, corporate, agency, mortgage-backed, asset-backed, and money market investments. Experience supporting portfolio analytics, investment reporting, performance measurement, and investment operations. Working knowledge of investment accounting principles and investment compliance monitoring.
  • Analytical Skills. You have a strong attention to detail, problem-solving mindset, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • You can clearly present findings and collaborate effectively with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
  • Bonus Qualifications. An MBA or CPA, experience with Bloomberg AIM, SQL, Geneva RSL, programming (VBA, Python, etc.), and familiarity with compliance frameworks or custodian data feeds will set you apart.

YOU'LL LOVE WORKING HERE BECAUSE YOU CAN:
  • Deliver at epic scale. We deliver real user outcomes using strong judgment and good instincts. We're obsessed with the art of achieving simplicity with a focus on client happiness and productivity.
  • Be surrounded by curious learners. We align ourselves with other smart people in an environment where we grow and elevate one another to the next level. We encourage our associates to listen, stay agile, and learn from mistakes.
  • Act like an owner & doer. Mission-driven and committed to leading change, you will be encouraged to take on any challenge and solve complex problems. No tasks are beneath or too great for us. We are hands-on and willing to master our craft.
  • Give back to others. Always do the right thing for our clients and our community and humbly give back to the community where we live and work. Support our associates in times of need through ADP's Philanthropic Foundation.
  • Join a company committed to equality and equity. Our goal is to impact lasting change through our actions.
