We are seeking a passionate and skilled Fishmonger to join our dynamic team at Bear Flag Fish Company. As a Fishmonger, you will be responsible for providing our customers with fresh, high-quality fish and seafood, offering expert advice, and ensuring an exceptional shopping experience. We are looking for someone with vast seafood knowledge and background. Proficient in slicing, dicing, chopping, and other culinary techniques. Uses knives for precision and speed in preparing food. 
Key Responsibilities:

  • Fish Preparation: portioning various types of fresh fish and seafood.
  • Customer Service: Offering knowledgeable advice on seafood preparation, cooking methods, and selection.
  • Inventory Management: Receiving, storing, and maintaining inventory of fresh seafood and other fishmonger supplies.
  • Hygiene & Safety: Ensuring that all work areas and equipment are cleaned and sanitized regularly, adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Sales: Assisting with sales, promoting seasonal specials, and creating attractive displays to enhance customer engagement.
  • Product Knowledge: Keeping up-to-date with industry trends and new products to offer customers the best options available.
