Job description

This role supports the forecasting and management of key portfolio components, including budgets, resources, materials, outage planning, and project schedules. The team ensures active projects remain on track for scope, cost, and in-service dates while addressing emergent work to maintain overall portfolio performance.

This position provides analytical and reporting support to Transmission Portfolio Management and Scoping & Estimating teams, helping ensure accurate insights into project performance, financials, and risks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Reporting & Data Management
    • Develop and maintain accurate financial and operational reports using tools such as Power BI, QlikView, TOAD Data Point, and Microsoft Office.
    • Analyze data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.
    • Ensure data integrity through regular validation and updates.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration
    • Partner with internal and external stakeholders to align priorities and ensure consistent processes.
    • Serve as a liaison to facilitate clear communication across teams.
  • Executive Reporting
    • Support development of concise, executive-level presentations.
    • Translate complex financial and operational data into actionable insights.
  • Systems & Tools
    • Utilize systems such as SAP, Sage, Navigator, HVK, OPPM, Ecosys, and Unifier to generate reports.
    • Identify and implement process improvements and reporting automation.
  • Analytical Support
    • Provide insights to support project planning, estimating, forecasting, and decision-making.
    • Assist in monitoring project scope, estimates, budget, and schedule performance.


       

Qualifications Include:

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred; or equivalent experience
  • 4+ years relevant experience (7+ without degree)
  • Experience with data analysis, forecasting, and process improvement
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with SAP, Oracle, or QlikView preferred
  • Ability to deliver accurate work within deadlines
