Title
Development CRM Manager
Under the supervision of the Executive Director, this position oversees and distributes between six - ten million+ dollars annually. This includes ensuring donor intent of all dollars and meeting the needs of the healthcare system as donor dollars are invested. This position also manages all funding requests from intake, to distributions to evaluation. Development manager will supervise support staff.
This position also manages special projects; carries out fundraising priorities in the healthcare system. Supports fundraising strategies and methods or activities to ensure proper acknowledgement, recognition, and stewardship of donors. Participates in developing campaign materials, case statements, and brochures. Builds working relationships and serves as a department liaison to other departments and other key personnel to achieve successful fundraising; and nurtures a culture of philanthropic support.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Work closely with healthcare system departments to coordinate and allocate appropriate use of donor funds to be utilized effectively and efficiently within the hospital which ensures donor and hospital satisfaction.
  • Manage funding requests from intake to distribution to evaluation
  • Management of support team members
  • Oversee and delegate stewardship tactics
  • Manage tactics and execution of annual fundraising appeals
  • Manage various fundraising strategies and implementation

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Strong Project management and leadership skills.
  • Strong verbal and professional written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience with staff supervision preferred
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize.
  • Ability to maintain high level of confidentiality.
  • Ability to maintain relationships with donors.
  • Detailed oriented
  • Ability to solicit gifts.
  • Ability to adapt and respond to various situations
  • Interpersonal skills to effectively interact with all levels of Bronson personnel and members of the community; has frequent contact with donors including corporate donors.
  • Has the ability to communicate in a logical, influential and persuasive manner in order to create confidence and trust in donors.
  • Knowledge of fundraising/development concepts and appropriate solicitation techniques.
  • Familiarity with electronic donor record keeping and integration systems, working knowledge of Blackbaud's Raiser Edge Software preferred.

EDUCATION
Education and experience equivalent to that ordinarily acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree but not required, and 5-7 years related experience.
