Transit Cleaning Positions โ€“ First Shift
Part-Time & Full-Time Opportunities Available, Monday through Friday, Starting February 15
Position Overview
We are seeking dependable and detail-oriented individuals to join our Transit Cleaning team for the first shift. Both part-time and full-time roles are available, with all positions scheduled Monday through Friday, beginning at 6:00 AM. Employment starts February 15.Shift Schedules
  • Full-Time: 6:00 AM โ€“ 1:00 PM, Monday through Friday (7 hours per shift, $17/hour)
  • Part-Time: 6:00 AM โ€“ 10:00 AM, Monday through Friday (4 hours per shift, $17/hour)
Responsibilities
  • At the start of each shift, all team members collaborate to clean and sanitize trolleys.
  • Following the initial cleaning, the two part-time employees will travel together in a company vehicle to approximately 25 transit stop locations to clean, sanitize, and empty trash receptacles.
  • While the two part-time employees are servicing the transit stops, the third employee remains at the operations center to carry out office cleaning and additional assigned duties.
  • Upon completion of the stop cleaning route, the part-time team returns to assist with remaining office cleaning and any additional tasks until their shift concludes at 10:00 AM.
  • The full-time employee continues working at the station after 10:00 AM, focusing on cleaning train cars as they arrive and performing other necessary station maintenance until the end of the shift at 1:00 PM.
Qualifications
  • Ability to work early morning shifts beginning at 6:00 AM, Monday through Sunday
  • Strong teamwork skills and a reliable work ethic
  • Valid driverโ€™s license (required for part-time employees assigned to operate the van)
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness and safety protocols
  • Ability to lift and handle trash bins and cleaning equipment as necessary
