Job description

First Federal Savings Bank is hiring an IT Administrator. The ideal candidate is a technically skilled and service-oriented IT professional who can effectively manage technology systems, troubleshoot issues, and support staff across the organization. They stay current with emerging technology and security trends, identify opportunities to improve efficiency, and build strong relationships with employees and technology partners.
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot servers, networks, workstations, and virtual environments (e.g., Windows Server, AD, DNS, DHCP, Hyper-V)
  • Deploy system updates, patches, and new hardware/software while ensuring security and functionality testing before production use.
  • Administer and support core banking systems and connected enterprise systems to ensure 24Ă—7 availability.
  • Manage backup, recovery, and disaster-preparedness processes, including replication and DR testing.
  • Provide help desk and end-user support, resolving escalated issues and ensuring uptime for critical banking operations.
  • Oversee and maintain security solutions, including monitoring alerts, auditing systems, and ensuring license/certificate compliance.
  • Support and troubleshoot telecommunications systems, including branch phones, call centers, and connectivity.
  • Coordinate with vendors for system support, maintenance, and issue resolution; monitor vendor performance reports.
  • Implement and follow IT policies, including security, DR, purchasing, and service-provision standards.
  • Ensure compliance with banking regulations and support auditors/examiners with required IT documentation.
  • Provide backup customer support for Electronic Banking functions.

Required Qualifications and Experience:
Associate's degree and/or two to four years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Education/job experience must pertain to areas of Information Technology.
Benefits:
The pay range is $21.00 - $28.00/hour and is designed to accommodate varying levels of education and experience.
