About Solar Artisans
At Solar Artisans, we do more than just install panels; we provide peace of mind. We specialize in servicing and repairing existing residential solar systems, with a focus on helping homeowners who have been abandoned by their original installers. We pride ourselves on craftsmanship, integrity, and restoring the promise of clean energy for our clients.
The Role
We are seeking a skilled Solar Installer/Technician to join our traveling service team. Unlike standard "cookie-cutter" installations, this role requires a diagnostic mindset. You will be the face of our company, assessing underperforming systems, troubleshooting technical issues, and performing high-quality repairs.
What You’ll Do
  • Diagnose & Repair: Assess existing solar arrays to identify failures, wiring issues, or structural concerns.
  • System Layout: Read solar design plans and accurately map roofs for adjustments or additions.
  • Precision Work: Professionally set feet, rails, and mounting hardware to ensure long-term durability.
  • Customer Advocacy: Communicate clearly with homeowners to explain repairs and provide a premium service experience.
  • Travel: Operate across a multi-state territory (NC, SC, and GA) to reach clients in need.
What We’re Looking For
  • Solar Experience: Proven experience in solar installation or electrical service.
  • Technical Literacy: Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and site maps.
  • Roof Proficiency: Comfort working at heights and knowledge of various roofing types (shingle, metal, etc.).
  • Road Warrior Mentality: Willingness to travel throughout the Southeast region.
  • Communication: A "customer-first" attitude with the ability to represent the brand professionally.
  • Clean Driving Record: Valid driver’s license is required.
Why Join Us?
  • Competitive Pay: We value expertise and pay accordingly.
  • Unique Work: Every day is a new puzzle; you won’t be doing the same repetitive install every day.
  • Growth Potential: Join a specialized niche in the solar industry with high demand.
  • Mission-Driven: Help homeowners who have nowhere else to turn.
