Job description

Winter Wonderlights GA
North Atlanta, GA | Seasonal Leadership Role
Base Pay + Performance-Based Commission

Build the team. Own the pipeline. Drive the close.

Winter Wonderlights GA is seeking an experienced, hands-on Sales Manager to lead our in-house sales team during our high-volume holiday lighting season.

We generate a strong volume of warm inbound leads, and we need a sales leader who knows how to turn opportunity into revenue through fast response, disciplined follow-up, effective coaching, strong CRM management, and team accountability.

This is an active leadership role. Our Sales Manager will be expected to understand what is happening inside the pipeline, coach the team in real time, identify opportunities that are stalling, and take ownership of sales performance.

What You’ll Own

  • Recruit, onboard, train, coach, and manage a seasonal sales team
  • Lead the sales process from warm lead intake through appointment, quote, follow-up, and close
  • Establish clear expectations for response time, follow-up, sales activity, and performance
  • Ensure new leads are contacted quickly and professionally
  • Oversee scheduling of onsite design consultations and sales appointments
  • Monitor open quotes and opportunities so qualified leads do not fall through the cracks
  • Coach team members on objection handling, follow-up, customer communication, and closing
  • Manage pipeline activity and accountability within Zoho CRM
  • Track key sales metrics including lead response time, appointments, quotes, close rate, pipeline activity, and revenue
  • Conduct pipeline reviews, sales meetings, and individual coaching sessions
  • Identify bottlenecks in the sales process and implement improvements
  • Help optimize onsite appointments and sales routes using tools such as Zoho RouteIQ
  • Collaborate closely with marketing, operations, and company leadership
  • Help forecast sales performance, staffing needs, and weekly revenue

Speed to Close Matters

Our business is highly seasonal, which means timing matters.

A warm lead needs fast, consistent follow-up.

We are looking for a Sales Manager who understands how to create urgency and accountability without sacrificing the customer experience.

You should naturally be thinking:

How quickly are we responding?
Where are opportunities getting stuck?
Which quotes need attention today?
Who needs coaching?
What is our close rate?
Are we on pace to hit our revenue goals?

Technology, CRM & AI

We are actively investing in technology to improve our sales operation.

Our environment includes Jobber, Zoho CRM, Zoho RouteIQ, sales automation, AI-assisted lead intake, and custom workflow development.

You do not need to be a developer, but you should be comfortable learning technology and using data, automation, and modern sales tools to help your team perform.

The right person will be open to working with leadership and our development team to improve:

  • Lead intake and follow-up
  • CRM workflows
  • AI-assisted sales processes
  • Pipeline reporting
  • Sales automation
  • Appointment routing
  • Customer communication

What We’re Looking For

Required:

  • Proven experience leading a sales team
  • Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales and revenue goals
  • Experience coaching and developing salespeople
  • Strong pipeline and CRM management skills
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Strong sense of urgency, organization, and follow-through
  • Ability to work locally in the North Atlanta area
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, seasonal sales environment

Preferred:

  • Experience managing warm inbound or appointment-driven sales
  • Home services, in-home sales, design sales, roofing, landscaping, HVAC, solar, remodeling, or similar sales experience
  • Zoho CRM experience
  • Salesforce, HubSpot, or comparable CRM experience
  • Experience using sales reporting, automation, or AI-enabled tools

Who Will Succeed Here

We’re looking for someone who can manage both people and performance.

The right person is comfortable setting strategy, but is also willing to open the CRM, review the pipeline, figure out why an opportunity has stalled, and help the team solve the problem.

We value leaders who are:

Results-driven. Accountable. Organized. Coachable. Tech-comfortable. Customer-focused.

Compensation

$50,000 Base + Performance-Based Commission

This position includes performance-based earning opportunities tied to sales results.

To Apply

Please submit your résumé along with a brief summary of your sales leadership experience.

We’re especially interested in learning:

  • The size and type of sales teams you’ve managed
  • The CRM platforms you’ve used
  • The type of sales environment you’ve worked in
  • A measurable sales result you’re proud of
