About the Role

As a RSR Maintenance Technician (Mobile), you will perform maintenance and repair of mechanical, electrical, and other building systems in accordance with standard operating procedures, internal requirements, manufacturer specifications, and safety policies.

This position focuses on routine maintenance tasks and does not include supervisory responsibilities. You'll work closely with supervisors and the planning team to complete assigned duties accurately and efficiently, helping to keep facilities safe, functional, and in top condition.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintenance: Perform routine proactive and reactive maintenance on buildings and equipment, including BMS, carpentry, plumbing, and electrical work.
  • Execution: Carry out tasks assigned by supervisors or Work Control, documenting and finalizing work requests as needed.
  • Work Orders: Respond to, complete, and close work order requests in the CMMS system, ensuring accurate time and task reporting for tracking and billing.
  • Safety: Follow all C&W Services safety policies and maintain a safe and organized work environment.
  • Communication: Maintain a positive working relationship across all of the Operations facility.

Basic Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of one (1) year of relevant experience in facilities maintenance or a related field.
  • Experience troubleshooting general conveyance systems and building systems.
  • General knowledge of tools, building maintenance procedures, and industrial facility equipment.
  • Ability to perform basic maintenance on mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
  • Strong written and mathematical skills.
  • Ability to work flexible schedules/shifts.
  • Valid driver's license.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associates or higher degree from a vocational school or college with a focus in the Mechanical or Electrical field
  • Experience with robotic operation and maintenance.
  • Experience or knowledge of HVAC, plumbing systems, Fire Life Safety (FLS) systems

Physical Demands:

  • Must have ability to reach overhead, kneel, squat, climb steps/ladders, use an aerial lift, and frequently lift a maximum of 50 lbs. of equipment.
  • Ability to perform tasks wearing appropriate or required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), which may include but is not limited to hard hat, face mask, face shield, and composite toe shoes.
  • Regularly required to crouch or bend and reach to install/move equipment.
  • Involves several hours of daily driving of fleet truck to sites within your assigned territory/node.
  • Work in a warehouse environment with fluctuating temperatures.
  • Regularly required to type on a computer or tablet for 1-2 hours per day.
