Job Description

Your primary focus in this role is to provide customers with excellent technical customer service and ensure complete satisfaction. Responsibilities include installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, testing, analyzing, while maintaining, repairing, and training of Syntegon Telstar equipment and associated products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform on-site installation, start-up, commissioning, and service of pharmaceutical manufacturing equipment.
  • Execute preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, and emergency repairs on mechanical and electrical systems
  • Troubleshoot motors, pumps, valves, sensors, heaters, PLC I/O, HMIs, and related control components
  • Identify root causes of equipment failures and implement effective corrective actions
  • Support customer operations by providing equipment operation guidance and basic training.
Qualifications

Basic Requirements:

  • Technical education or 5+ years of handson field service / maintenance experience.
  • Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting abilities; safe working practices.
  • Experience with industrial equipment in regulated environments (pharma, biotech, food).
  • Basic PLC diagnostics and understanding of GMP documentation.
  • Independent working style, strong communication skills, customerfocused mindset.
  • Valid driver's licence and passport.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience servicing equipment such as lyophilizers, sterilizers, isolators, or containment systems.
  • Experience working in cleanroom or controlled environments.
  • Ability to read basic ladder logic or fault diagnostics.
  • Multi-lingual (Spanish, German, or French) a plus.

Additional physical and travel requirements:

  • Willingness to travel up to 75%, including international destinations.
  • Work in tight quarters; on top of and underneath equipment. Stand, stoop, kneel and bend continuously while working on equipment (66% of the time).
  • Lift up to 50 lbs on a regular basis.

Submit to safety, background and drug/alcohol testing as required by customers and wear personal protective equipment as necessary.

Additional Information

Anticipated hourly rate is between $36 - $41
