Member Service Representative I

As a Member Service Representative I, you’ll be one of the first faces and voices our members interact with. You’ll assist with day-to-day banking needs, help members find products and services that fit their goals, and create positive experiences that build lasting relationships.

Whether you already have banking experience or are looking to start a new career in financial services, this role offers an opportunity to learn, grow, and make a meaningful impact every day.


What You’ll Do

* Welcome and assist members with their financial needs in person, over the phone, and electronically

* Open and close deposit accounts and assist with account maintenance and servicing requests

* Process member transactions including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, balance inquiries, money orders, and wire transfers

* Help members navigate fraud concerns and card disputes with professionalism and empathy

* Identify opportunities to recommend products and services that align with members’ needs and financial goals

* Review account documentation and membership records for completeness and accuracy

* Support branch operations and provide backup assistance to the teller line as needed

* Collaborate with teammates to create a positive and efficient branch experience

We’re looking for someone who enjoys working with people, communicates well, and takes pride in delivering excellent service.


Preferred Qualifications

* At least 1 year of customer service or administrative experience

* Banking or financial institution experience is helpful, but not required

* Strong communication and relationship-building skills

* Ability to listen carefully and identify member needs

* Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

* Comfortable multitasking and managing priorities in a fast-paced environment

* Confidence using technology and Windows-based computer systems

* High School Diploma or equivalent required
