 The Casino Credit Clerk is responsible for supporting the core financial operations of the casino by ensuring the accuracy, security, and integrity of all customer credit and checkcashing documentation. This position serves as a key point of contact for guests utilizing credit services, delivering exceptional service while processing sensitive financial information with precision and confidentiality. The Credit Specialist plays a vital role in maintaining compliance with gaming regulations and supporting efficient, trustworthy transactions that contribute to a seamless guest experience across the property.Responsibilities

Where You'll Make an Impact:

  • Verifies and posts confidential credit information and identification credentials into the patron's credit line.
  • Processes casino credit applications and maintains customer files.
  • Makes direct contact, either by phone or face to face with customers when taking credit applications.
  • Makes direct contact with banks and consumer credit reporting agencies and casino credit reporting agencies.
  • Makes direct contact with other casinos to obtain and document patron casino credit information.
  • Inputs and authorizes new check cashing customers to computer system.
  • Audits mail-in markers payments, return check logs, and return marker logs.
  • Suspends customers with return check. Reviews and processes win/loss statements.
  • Ability to extend complementaries in accordance with the property comp matrix.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned.

  • Must be computer literate and detail oriented.
  • Must be able to work flexible schedule, weekends and holidays.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain all necessary licensing required for the position as required by the State Gaming Agency.
Qualifications

Must-Haves:

  • High School diploma or GED required as well as one year of general office work experience.

 Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to sit for extended periods while performing computer and dataentry tasks.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs (e.g., paperwork boxes, supplies).
  • Occasional standing, walking, bending, and reaching to retrieve files and interact with customers.

Working Conditions:

  • 24/7 high energy casino with over 300,000 sq. ft of gaming and entertainment space and approximately 3000 employees
  • Exposed to alcohol, cigarette and cigar smoke, bright lights, and loud noises.
  • You will work in an environment where smoking is allowed.
