Job description

Responsibilities:

  • Verifies operation to be performed and material to be used on each job as directed by documentation
  • Operates machines and produces parts, monitors run to ensure consistent quality parts are being produced
  • Uses measuring devices and blueprints to inspect parts for tolerance and visually inspects surface for appearance and other potential problems
  • Follow SOP instructions and enter accurate data in JobBoss
  • Completes 1st article and in process inspection
  • May fit and assemble parts into complete assembly
  • Uses hand tools, grinders, scotch brite and other special deburring tools to remove sharp edges from machined surfaces
  • Maintains a safe and clean work area
  • Loads programs in or takes programs out of the computer control
  • Performs setups of equipment with appropriate tooling and fixtures
  • Provide training to existing and new employees
