Security Officer - Data Center Verifications

As a Security Officer - Data Center Verifications in Mesa, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a leading technology data center location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, support badge verification, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. Job Schedule:

Day Time

Tue 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Wed 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Thur 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Fri 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Sat 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:
  • Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, vendors, and/or contractors at a data center location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, access concerns, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of data center buildings, grounds, perimeter areas, entry points, and other assigned locations to help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, reporting unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
  • Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.
Minimum Requirements:
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
