Job description

Position Summary


The Account Manager is responsible for understanding what success means to each client and ensuring Firefly stays aligned with achieving it. This role builds strong client relationships, understands business goals and challenges, identifies risks and opportunities, and connects the right Firefly resources to help clients move their businesses forward.

The Account Manager is not a product salesperson or technical support representative. They are responsible for ensuring the client's desired outcomes remain at the center of the Firefly relationship.


Key Responsibilities

  • Define and document success from the client's perspective.
  • Promise and Expectation Alignment
  • Build strong relationships with the client.
  • Recommend Strategic Technology Alignment.
  • Proactive Client Leadership.
  • Client Advocacy Inside Firefly
  • Ensure client commitments have clear ownership and are followed through to completion.

Experience & Qualifications

  • 2+ years of account management, client success, consulting, sales, or other client-facing business experience.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships.
  • Comfortable working with business owners, executives, and decision-makers.
  • Curious, relationship-focused, and comfortable learning new technologies, including AI.


What Success Looks Like

A successful Account Manager knows what matters most to their clients, proactively brings forward ideas and recommendations, keeps expectations and commitments aligned, and maintains healthy, profitable, long-term relationships.


Role Standard

You don't have to own every task. You own making sure the client's desired outcome doesn't get lost between the client and Firefly.
