Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate, confidential clinical documentation in alignment with best practices and legal requirements, ensuring adherence to HIPAA standards.
  • Collaborate effectively with an interdisciplinary treatment team, including psychiatrists, psychologists, and other mental health professionals, to coordinate comprehensive care for clients.
  • Participate in regular case consultations and peer review sessions to enhance treatment quality and share insights with colleagues.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a mental health counselor at Firefly Support Groups, you will engage with a diverse client base, including individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, and various other mental health conditions. Qualifications
  • A masterโ€™s or doctorate degree from an accredited program in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
  • An active and valid license to practice in Texas as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or licensed psychologist.
  • Expertise in solution-focused psychotherapy treatments and strategies tailored to the unique needs of each client, ensuring effective and targeted care.
  • Demonstrated strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building rapport and fostering therapeutic relationships with clients.
