Job-type: Part-time to full-time, depending on business needs

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour

Job Overview:

Mears Transportation is seeking a creative and driven Content Creator to produce high-quality photo and video content for our social media platforms. This also includes other photo and video creation for, but not limited to training, business proposals, instruction, websites, client needs, and other marketing materials.

This role combines photography, short-form video creation, content management, social media calendar management, content posting, and engagement. You will be responsible for capturing, editing, and posting engaging content that represents our brand and drives customer interest, with direction and approval from the Director of Marketing and Management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, shoot, and edit photo and video content as designed and approved by appointed business members.
  • Create engaging content for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, LinkedIn, and occasionally our websites and internal needs.
  • Create other content for other business and marketing materials.
  • Maintain consistent branding and visual style.
  • Upload and manage content across social media platforms, engage with comments.
  • Track and analyze content performance (views, engagement, leads).
  • Collaborate with the Director of Marketing and other leadership on campaigns and ideas.
  • Stay current with social media trends and adapt content accordingly.
  • Label and organize both existing and new content based on direction.

Requirements:

  • Experience in photography and video content creation, and posting on SM.
  • Strong understanding of Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
  • Editing skills (Lightroom, Photoshop, CapCut, etc.).
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work well with guests, employees, management and the general public.
  • Must have Reliable transportation.

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of social media growth strategies.
  • Fast workflow and strong attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in the Adobe Creative Cloud apps: Lightroom, Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere. Pro, After Effects, Express, InDesign, Firefly.
  • Professional camera and equipment are a plus. Company will provide computer for editing and iPhone Pro for in-field photography and videography.
  • Filming within the hospitality industry. 
  • Automotive photography experience is a plus.
