Job description

The Fire Watcher - Construction Position is responsible for ensuring fire safety on construction sites by monitoring for fire hazards and maintaining safety communication. This role operates primarily during day shifts 7-5) and Saturdays as well, working independently while reporting directly to the Site Manager and Construction Superintendent. The Fire Watcher plays a critical part in upholding site safety standards and preventing fire-related incidents in a dynamic construction environment.


Position NEEDS to be filled ASAP

Responsibilities

  • Monitor construction site for fire hazards and risks
  • Respond promptly to fire emergencies and initiate appropriate actions
  • Document and report safety observations and incident details accurately
  • Maintain clear communication with site safety management and construction teams
  • Coordinate with team members to ensure compliance with fire safety protocols


MUST HAVE ALL PPE (Hard Hat, Boots, Safety Shirt / Vest, Jeans)

MUST HAVE reliable transportation to and from job location.
