About Us:

IMC Fire Protection has proudly served as Northern Florida’s top provider of fire protection services since 2018. Providing full-service fire protections services designed with hotels, resorts, manufacturing facilities, and military projects in mind, we offer one-stop solutions that include fire sprinkler installation, inspections and service, fire alarm installation, inspections and service, backflow preventer inspections, repairs, and more.

Role Overview:

Responsible for assisting with the installation, maintenance, and repair of fire sprinkler systems on commercial and/or industrial job sites. This role supports the sprinkler team by performing general labor tasks, handling materials and tools, and helping ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with applicable codes, standards, and project specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the installation, maintenance, and repair of fire sprinkler systems
  • Load, unload, and organize tools, materials, and equipment at job sites
  • Support sprinkler fitters and foremen with measuring, cutting, and assembling pipe and system components
  • Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
  • Follow instructions to complete assigned tasks accurately and efficiently
  • Assist with reading blueprints, drawings, and project specifications as needed
  • Use hand tools, power tools, and equipment safely and properly
  • Transport materials and supplies to work areas
  • Observe and comply with company safety policies and job site safety requirements
  • Perform other general labor duties as assigned to support the fire sprinkler crew

Required Skills and Experience:

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Previous construction or mechanical experience preferred, but not required
  • Willingness to learn fire sprinkler installation methods, tools, and materials

Working Conditions:
