Fire Sprinkler Helper - Tampa
Location: St. Petersburg, Florida (various job sites in surrounding area)
Length: 6 month contract with potential to extend and/or convert perm
Pay rate: 21/hr. on W2 basis
***Must be able to use your own vehicle to get to job sites. Mileage reimbursement is 26 cents/mile up to 400 miles/week
Role Overview
We are seeking multiple Fire Sprinkler Helpers for our client's commercial service division. In this role, you will work directly with Lead Technicians to perform service, repair, and maintenance on existing fire sprinkler systems.
Key Responsibilities
  • Assist Lead Technicians with commercial fire sprinkler service and repair tasks.
  • Replace sprinkler heads and related system components.
  • Install and hang sprinkler pipes during repair projects.
  • Help identify and repair leaks in fire sprinkler systems.
  • Operate various hand and power tools safely and effectively.
  • Travel to customer sites and meet Lead Technicians onsite.
Required Qualifications
  • One year of experience working with fire sprinkler systems ideally.
  • A basic understanding of fire sprinkler components and how systems operate.
  • The ability to work alongside experienced technicians and learn new skills.
  • A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience operating or assisting with a RIDGID 300 pipe-threading machine.
