Adjunct Instructor Fire/Wildland Fire to teach continuing education fire rescue classes for Asheville Buncombe Technical Community College. Instructors will work daytime and evening hours with some weekends. Hours are dependent on classes being taught.
Duties
Adjunct Instructor Fire/Wildland Fire is responsible for instructing fire rescue training for emergency responders in Buncombe and Madison Counties following accepted outlines and course materials. Instructors are responsible for all documentation and records as required by the North Carolina Fire and Rescue Commission and Asheville Buncombe Technical Community College.
Minimum Requirements
1. High School Diploma / GED;
2. Instructor credentials appropriate for course assignments;
3. Specialized training certifications as defined by the course requirements i.e Technical Rescue, Hazardous Materials, Driver Operator.
