Job description

2nd Shift - Alarm Dispatcher

Work with the best! Per Mar Security, an industry leader in providing integrated security solutions, is seeking hardworking motivated people to join our nationally recognized, Five Diamond Certified Monitoring Center!

Dispatchers serve as the life-saving link between residential or business properties and the police, fire and emergency services in local areas.

-Schedule is set days and shifts.

-Days off will be consecutive but these are weekend schedules

-Starting pay is $19 per hour!

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Answer and follow up incoming signals, alarms and requests
  • Initiate outbound calls to customers, police agencies and emergency contacts
  • Accurately document accounts to note any events that occurred or action taken
  • Work additional hours when necessary – fill open shifts and cover during storms.
  • When appropriate, inform customers of Per Mar Security Services of products and services and refer business to appropriate departments.
  • As this position develops, the employee may be assigned additional duties or special projects as deemed necessary by management.

What You’ll Need To Do This:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required.
  • One to three years dispatching, call center, and/or multi-line phone experience highly preferred.
  • Strong customer service focus/skills a must.
  • Must be detail-oriented and able to handle multiple tasks.
  • Strong computer skills with demonstrated experience in Microsoft Office Suite including Word and Excel. Internet skills required.
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug test.
  • Possess the ability to multi-task and pay strong attention to detail.
