Synchron, LLC is recruiting for a FIOS & NWI Digital Solutions Developer / Data & Decision Support Analyst to provide technical, analytical, and digital development support to the Navy's Fleet Introduction Operating System (FIOS) and Naval Warfighting Integration (NWI) efforts. The position will serve as a bridge between operational and requirements stakeholders, business processes, authoritative data sources, and the Advana digital environment to develop scalable digital workflows, dashboards, and decision-support capabilities. Responsibilities: * Lead the continued development and sustainment of FIOS digital capabilities within Advana, including dashboards, data models, workflow tools, analytics, and executive decision-support products. The contractor will additionally support broader NWI digitization efforts by translating existing processes, data requirements, and decision frameworks into integrated digital solutions. * Lead continued design, development, testing, refinement, and sustainment of the FIOS digital environment within Advana. * Translate FIOS governance, processes, milestones, roles, and decision requirements into executable digital workflows and data structures. * Dashboard & Decision-Support Development * Navy capability development, requirements, acquisition, Fleet Introduction, or readiness processes. * OPNAV, Fleet, Systems Command, PEO, Resource Sponsor, or similar headquarters-level * DOTmLPF-P analysis. * Advana development and/or analytics. * DoD or Department of the Navy data environments. * Dashboard and business-intelligence development. * Data modeling and relational data architecture. * Data visualization. Minimum Experience & Requirements: * Graduate degree in a quantitative research position such as operations research and strategic studies or a field related in statistics or data analytics. Graduate degree may be substituted with proven 2 years' experience with NASP and NRP, planning, managing, and executing Naval studies and research. In addition, 1-2 years' experience with AMP-DP is preferred. * Proven knowledge of military practices and warfighting concepts, with at least 5 years of maritime operational experience (Navy preferred). * Working knowledge of military wargaming and experimentation practices, with at least 1-2 years' experience in planning and participating in military wargames and tabletop exercises. Strong analytic and communication skills with 1-2 years' experience analyzing wargame results, relating insights to strategy and goals and communicating findings across teams and to leadership. * 1-2 years' experience managing a war room, which may be substituted with proven organizational skills in coalescing, presenting, explaining, and archiving large amounts of complex information, such as through program analysis or management. * Active DOD Top Secret Clearance Other Requirements: The ideal individual is a technical product developer with strong business-analysis skills, rather than a developer focused solely on software implementation. The individual should be capable of moving between four levels of the problem: * Mission: Understand what FIOS/NWI is attempting to accomplish. * Process: Understand how organizations, decisions, data, and workflows interact. * Data: Determine how those relationships should be represented and governed digitally. * Product: Build an intuitive Advana capability that allows users and leadership to act on that information.
