Job description

ABOUT US
Victra is Verizon's largest premium retailer in the United States. We thrive on collaboration, innovation, and performance. Our mission is to "Connect technology to life in a trustworthy, fun, and profitable way." We work closely with Verizon and our brand partners to deliver exceptional product offerings, promotions, and campaigns, and our ability to protect and recover the revenue behind every sale is what makes the whole thing work.
JOB DESCRIPTION
You will work within our company culture where Performance, Integrity, Collaboration, Innovation, and Celebration are the Core Values.
The VCC FiOS / Frontier Revenue Assurance Specialist is responsible for identifying, analyzing, and recovering underpaid or unpaid FiOS and Frontier revenue. This role focuses on high-volume, detail-driven research across complex order, billing, and compensation data, bridging gaps between sales activity, system visibility, and partner payment outcomes.
This is an individual contributor role requiring strong analytical judgment, technical proficiency, and the ability to independently manage end-to-end investigations from initial variance identification through dispute, recovery, and systemic fix. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in imperfect data environments and enjoys turning ambiguity into recoverable dollars and process improvements.
This isn't a data-entry job. Every variance you find is a dollar recovered. Every systemic fix you recommend keeps the same problem from costing us twice.
AS A VCC FIOS / FRONTIER REVENUE ASSURANCE SPECIALIST, YOU WILL:
FiOS / Frontier Revenue Assurance & Reconciliation
• Perform detailed reconciliation of FiOS and Frontier orders using internal and partner systems (e.g., Optix, VZ STAC, Frontier reporting, POS data).
• Identify no-pays, underpayments, chargebacks, and delayed payouts related to installations, upgrades, plan changes, and product eligibility.
• Investigate discrepancies tied to system limitations, visibility gaps, SKU/plan mismatches, and partner processing errors.
• Prepare documents, submit discrepancies, and track disputes with FiOS and Frontier partners at the SSC through resolution.
• Maintain clear documentation of findings, assumptions, recovery logic, and outcomes to ensure auditability and repeatability.
Data Analysis & Reporting
• Follow/maintain existing workflows, and build new reconciliation workflows as needed (e.g., Frontier recon by Quote ID, FiOS recon by MON) to support recurring research.
• Validate activation and upgrade activity, active status, and payment eligibility when upstream system visibility is incomplete or inconsistent.
• Produce clear reporting that illustrates financial impact and highlights actionable root causes.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Partner closely with Revenue Assurance and Operations to resolve root causes preventing payment.
• Translate investigative findings into practical process fixes for internal Field partners (Ops) and for external VZ partners, not just one-time recoveries.
• Provide subject-matter expertise on FiOS/Frontier compensation mechanics and research methodology.
Process Improvement & Risk Mitigation
• Identify workflow, data, or system gaps that create recurring FiOS/Frontier revenue risk.
• Recommend scalable solutions to reduce manual research and keep revenue from slipping through the same gaps twice.
• Contribute to standardization of research methods, documentation, and dispute practices across the VCC FiOS/Frontier portfolio.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
• Strong analytical experience working with high-volume transactional data.
• Proven ability to conduct root-cause analysis in environments with incomplete or inconsistent data.
• High attention to detail with the ability to connect operational activity to financial outcomes.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, able to explain complex issues clearly and concisely.
• Comfortable working independently, managing multiple investigations, and shifting priorities as new risks emerge.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience supporting FiOS, Frontier, or similar telecom order-to-pay models.
• Prior revenue assurance, audit, reconciliation, or finance operations experience.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale data, order lifecycle analysis, or compensation frameworks.
• Experience partnering cross-functionally to drive systemic fixes, not just point recoveries.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO THE TABLE:
• Detail-Oriented: You catch what others miss, document what you find, and build logic others can follow.
• Curious: When the numbers don't add up, you dig until they do.
• Independent: You manage your own queue, set your own pace, and drive investigations to close.
• Collaborative: You know a one-time recovery is good, but a systemic fix is better.
• Resilient: Ambiguous data and dead ends are part of the job, not reasons to stop.
WHAT WE OFFER:
• Competitive base salary
• Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance
• Discounted Verizon services
• Paid training and career-development pathways
• Tuition reimbursement
• Referral bonuses and contests
TRAINING:
All VCC FiOS / Frontier Revenue Assurance Specialists complete a four-day Victra New Hire University (NHU) within two weeks of start date, plus a role-specific onboarding track covering FiOS and Frontier compensation mechanics, reconciliation workflows, dispute submission processes, and navigation of internal and partner systems.
This job description is not intended to be a comprehensive list of all duties, responsibilities, and skills required of the position; duties, responsibilities, and skills required may change without notice.
We are proud to be an equal opportunity employer and celebrate our employees' differences, regardless of race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, disability, or Veteran status.
