State Street Investment Management is building one of the industry's most ambitious next-generation growth platforms, designed to capture the structural transformation of global wealth distribution. As Vice President, DRDW this role will play a pivotal role in shaping how one of the world's largest asset managers wins across the future of investing.

This role sits at the center of the accelerating shift toward:

  • Direct retail investing

  • Embedded investing ecosystems

The successful candidate will be responsible for driving SSIM's commercial growth across US digital wealth and direct retail channels, with a primary focus on US platform ecosystems.

This is a highly visible, growth-oriented role for a commercially minded leader who wants to help define the future of asset management distribution.

Key Responsibilities

Commercial Growth and Strategic Partnerships

  • Develop and execute SSIM's DRDW International growth strategy across Europe and priority global markets/ US growth strategy
  • Build and manage senior relationships with key digital wealth and retail investment platforms
  • Drive ETF, active, alternatives, and model portfolio adoption across strategic platform partners
  • Expand buy-list penetration, platform integrations, and commercial revenue opportunities
  • Identify and execute differentiated partnership models, including:
    • Preferred provider agreements
    • Revenue share models
    • Platform integrations
    • Co-branded solutions
    • White-label opportunities
    • Future ETF as a Service pathways

Product and Solution Commercialization

  • Deliver SSIM's full strategic offering, including:
    • ETFs
    • Active funds
    • Alternatives
    • Model portfolios
    • Portfolio construction
    • Capital markets solutions
    • Wealth technology capabilities
  • Position SSIM not only as an asset manager, but as a strategic platform partner
  • Support the development of scalable partnership frameworks across geographies

Salary Range:

$110,000 - $188,750 Annual
