Finishing Process Operator

Coatings is a key part of our business. Reporting to the Department Supervisor, a Finishing Process Operator is responsible for the operation of a finishing process (Plating, E-Coat, Powder Coat) and the general/preventative maintenance of finishing equipment. If you enjoy working in a fast-paced and dynamic team environment, this is the role for you.Successful candidates will have some prior experience in manufacturing.

What You Will Do:

  • Utilize basic chemistry and math principles to determine and maintain pH levels, amperages, and material ordering.

  • Enter and maintaining quality data via computerized systems.

  • Follow KanBan principles regarding material flow.

  • Follow all OSHA and RCRA regulations in handling chemicals and operating finishing process and material movement equipment.

What You Need to Succeed:

  • High School Diploma or GED required.

  • Preferred Qualifications: 3 months experience in plating, e-coat, or powder coat in a manufacturing operation.

  • In addition, you ideally bring an ability to perform material handling, racking activities, and preventative maintenance of equipment, but if not, we will happily provide the training and support you need to be successful!
