Position Purpose Summary - Perform all operations in work area to meet or exceed expected quality and production standards.


Job Description

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Comply with all federal and state environmental, health and safety regulations as well as any safety policies and protocols outlined by the company.
Set up and trim, finish parts on appropriate equipment.
Set up and operate large laser cutting machines and automated inscription machine.
Load and unload ovens.
Final inspection of parts using various measuring devices.
Follow all SPC procedures.
Rework parts as necessary.
In process, trim and inspect all parts as required (line pull).
Record daily activities including clock offs and special projects.
Record all Information on GT data collection system as required.
Must be able to electronically perform SAP transactions such as labor and material usage in a timely and accurate manner.
Perform miscellaneous duties in the area as assigned.


OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES
Pull flash, cut vents and count parts.
Rinse and bag parts as required.
Transport work in process and finished goods within and between departments as necessary.


QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience
Perform job in compliance with Company's Quality Policy (ISO 9000).
Ability to read and interpret prints.
Ability to read, understand and follow the work instructions in all operations.
Maintain annual QC certification.

Demonstrated ability to independently read and interpret production drawings, work instructions, Company documents and other specified requirements essential for performing standard job functions


PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to work in positions requiring frequent pushing, grasping and repetitive movement.
Ability to occasionally work in positions requiring occasional pulling, twisting, and reaching.
Ability to wear personal protective equipment such as: Eye Protection, Protective Gloves, Hearing Protection
Ability to work in alternating positions of sitting and standing for long periods of time.
Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. without the use of mechanical lifting devices.
Ability to carry up to 25 lbs. without the use of mechanical lifting devices.
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
