Job description

We are currently looking for a Proposal Pricing Analyst for a 100% remote position on a large federal government project. In this role, you will support federal proposal efforts by developing compliant and competitive pricing solutions, financial models, and cost estimates for government opportunities. You will work closely with capture managers, proposal managers, solution architects, finance professionals, and executive leadership in a collaborative, fast-paced proposal environment to support successful business development initiatives.

The candidate must reside within the continental US.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze solicitation requirements to develop pricing assumptions, cost estimates, and identify pricing risks, questions, and compliance considerations.
  • Develop compliant and competitive pricing models, labor estimates, financial analyses, and pricing strategies for federal proposal submissions.
  • Collaborate with capture managers, proposal managers, solution architects, subcontractors, and company leadership to develop accurate and competitive pricing solutions.
  • Prepare customer pricing templates, cost volumes, pricing summaries, and supporting documentation required for proposal submissions.
  • Support competitive assessments, price-to-win analyses, and financial evaluations to improve proposal competitiveness and profitability.
  • Maintain organized pricing files, supporting documentation, assumptions, and audit-ready records throughout the proposal lifecycle.
  • Take on additional tasks and responsibilities as needed to support team objectives and ensure the success of the project.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Mathematics, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
  • Two (2) to five (5) years of experience supporting federal proposal pricing, financial analysis, estimating, program control, accounting, or government contracting.
  • Experience developing pricing models, labor estimates, and financial analyses for federal proposal efforts.
  • Experience supporting multiple proposal efforts in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, lookups, financial modeling, and data analysis.
  • Knowledge of federal government contracting cost structures, including direct labor, indirect rates, and pricing methodologies.
  • Experience developing customer pricing templates, cost volumes, and proposal pricing documentation.
  • Familiarity with price-to-win methodologies, pricing strategy development, and competitive pricing analysis.
  • Experience organizing and maintaining pricing documentation and supporting audit-ready proposal records.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to interpret complex financial and pricing data.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present pricing recommendations to management.
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting proposal deadlines.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams in a remote environment.

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience supporting federal government proposal submissions.
  • Experience developing cost/price volumes, pricing workbooks, and customer pricing templates.
  • Experience conducting competitive assessments, pricing strategy development, and price-to-win analyses.
  • Experience working within a proposal management or business development environment.
  • Experience with government contracting regulations and proposal compliance is preferred.

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Government/Public Trust clearance, including required fingerprinting, when required for the position.
