Fine Dining Host / Hostess (Part-Time)Create Exceptional First Impressions at Casino Fandango!

Casino Fandango is seeking an enthusiastic, friendly, and guest-focused Fine Dining Host/Hostess to join our restaurant team. As the first and last point of contact for our guests, you play an important role in creating a memorable dining experience. If you enjoy providing outstanding customer service in an upscale dining environment and thrive in a fast-paced atmosphere, we'd love to meet you!

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Welcome guests with a warm, friendly, and professional demeanor.
  • Escort guests to their tables while creating a welcoming and personalized dining experience.
  • Accommodate guest seating preferences whenever possible, including table or booth requests.
  • Ensure guest seating is balanced among service stations to support efficient restaurant operations.
  • Promote current specials, wine selections, and featured menu items with enthusiasm.
  • Communicate guest celebrations, special requests, compliments, and concerns to the management and service team.
  • Monitor dining room activity and assist in maintaining smooth guest flow throughout service.
  • Assess situations requiring management attention and communicate them promptly.
  • Answer incoming telephone calls, manage reservations, and maintain accurate wait lists.
  • Process guest payments accurately when needed.
  • Thank guests for dining with us and invite them to return.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming host stand.
  • Provide exceptional service while working collaboratively with fellow team members.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Previous customer service or restaurant experience is preferred but not required.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide exceptional guest service.
  • Ability to remain calm, professional, and courteous during busy service periods.
  • Leadership qualities and the ability to make sound decisions are a plus.
  • Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Frequent reaching, bending, and light lifting.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
  • Must be able to tolerate exposure to secondhand smoke, high noise levels, bright lights, and dust in a casino environment.
